How to take care infants.
- Make sure the baby is breastfed as soon as possible after the birth.
- Glucose water, sugar water etc other than mother's milk should not be fed to baby.
- First 6 months after birth only mother's milk is to be fed. If anything other than mother's milk is fed it leads to health complications.
- Bottle milk should not be given to baby as it is dangerous.Pacifiers are also dangerous so should not be used.
- First 6 months the baby does not require water, sugar water other than mother's milk.
- After breastfeeding put baby on the shoulders and slowly tap on back and make it burp.
- Until baby is 6 months old breastfeeding is enough. Continue breastfeeding upto 2 years.
- Vaccinations should be necessarily given at right times.
- Keep an eye on overall growth of baby. If problem occurs immediately consult a child specialist.
- Take care of cleanliness.
- Do not compare your kid with other children.
- Put the baby to sleep in a clean, dry cotton cloth.
- Janumagutti, grape water, powdered badam is not required.
- Applying kajal to eyes, putting oil in eyes, nose, ears will harm the baby.
